Welcome to your central source for information regarding the 2026 State Convention of the American Council of the Blind of Nebraska (ACBN), including registration details and event logistics.
This year’s convention theme is:
“50 Years of Honoring Our Past and Empowering Our Future.”
The two-day event will take place on:
Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, at the
oliday Inn Downtown Waterpark, located at 1420 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.
Convention programming:
Friday:
From 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by Recreation Zone activities beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday:
From 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with the Convention Banquet Social at 6:00, and Banquet including keynote address at 6:30 p.m.
Registration will open at 8:00 a.m. on both days.
Hotel:
For those requiring hotel accommodations, a special group rate of $108 per night, plus applicable taxes (currently 18.16%), is available. Reservations may be made by calling 402-341-0124 and referencing the ‘ACBN 2026 Group’.
Or via the Holiday Inn website at Holiday Inn registration. Please note that on-site parking is available for a nightly fee of $15.
Online convention registration will open on February 2, 2026 at 2026 Convention Registration. Attendees are encouraged to review the Program Agenda.
Registration is offered at a flat rate and applies regardless of whether an individual attends one day or both Friday and Saturday programming sessions. Please refer to the 2026 Convention Registration for complete pricing details.
