2025 Exhibit Letter and Registration

Dear Exhibitor,

The American Council of the Blind of Nebraska will hold its 2025 Convention with the theme “Inspire for the Best Life”. This is a one-day, jam-packed event. We will, once again, have an Exhibit Hall and we invite you to be a part of this event.

Date: Saturday, March 22, 2025

Time: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Exhibits: 11:50 AM – 1:45 PM

Location:  St. James United Methodist Church, 4343 Capehart Rd, Bellevue, NE. The location can be viewed in Google maps.

Cost: $30 with optional lunch ($15) and Banquet dinner ($25)

We plan to have participants visit the Exhibit Hall during operating hours as described above.

At the time of registration, attendees will receive a card listing vendors. Each convention attendee will be encouraged to visit as many exhibits as possible and secure stickers for the chance to be included in a special drawing at day’s end. When they visit your table, you can place a sticker on the card. We feel this incentive will help ensure a busy exhibit area. Note: stickers will be provided.

Door prizes and auction items from your organization are appreciated. Each attendee will also receive a conference bag. If you have any items you would like to donate, please let us know by March 1.

Reserve your table by February 28 online. Space is limited. Registrations received March 1 or later will be assessed a $10 late fee and may not be guaranteed a program listing.

Sponsor: You will be listed as a sponsor in our program

  • $25 – Bronze
  • $50 – Silver
  • $100 – Gold
  • $500 – Platinum
  • $1,000 – Diamond

We are also pleased to announce a half-day workshop “Empowering Through AI” taking place Friday, March 21 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, followed by a banquet dinner. In collaboration with the Nebraska Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired (NCBVI) the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be presented by Jeff Bishop, IT Accessibility Consultant with the University of Arizona and current Blind Information Technology Specialist (BITS) President, an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind. This workshop will explain what AI is, its capabilities, its use in everyday life, and how AI can level the playing field for persons with disabilities, and much more. The 4-hour workshop, social and banquet takes place March 21 also at St. James United Methodist Church.

For assistance with online registration, or if you have further questions, please reach out to jim@acbnebraska.org or call 402-679-8448 and leave a message should there be no answer.

Sincerely,
