You may be aware the American Council of the Blind of Nebraska (ACBN) will celebrate our 50th anniversary at our annual state convention on April 17 & 18, 2026 at the Holiday Inn Downtown Omaha. As part of this celebration, we hope to present five new Life Memberships.
The ACBN Life Membership, as the name implies, entitles the recipient to life-long membership in the state affiliate regardless of any changes in membership dues. The Life Membership fee is $300, and is paid at one time, or in $100 installments for up to three years. A life membership may be purchased by a member for their own use, or can be presented as a gift.
If you want to make a monetary contribution to contribute to purchasing a Life Membership for yourself, family member, or friend, please make checks payable to the American Council of the Blind of Nebraska and write Life Membership and the intended recipient’s name in the memo. If you wish to donate in memory of a member or friend who has passed, you may make a contribution in their honor. If your wishes are complex, feel free to reach out to our ACBN President, Kristal Platt at 402-575-8910.
